The following audio and video examples are provided by Vic Firth for use with the handout labeled "Rudiments".  In order to hear the examples you must have the Quicktime player and plugin installed on your computer.  You can download it free from Apple's website.  Older browsers may not support Quicktime; make sure you're using Internet Explorer version 4.0 or higher.

Handouts (PDF Documents)

Audio files that accompany the printable lesson handouts can be saved to an iPod or burned to a music CD-ROM for use during practice.  They were recorded at a moderate tempo so have patience if you're not yet playing them at these speeds.  A broadband connection is recommended to listen to and download these Quicktime/MP3 files.  If you do not have the Quicktime plug-in you can download it free here.
